Description

Question Deadline 10/02/2023 at 5:00 PM CT The Contract Documents and Specifications are available at the City of Burnet. Questions and requests for additional information shall be sent by email to: ebelaj@cityofburnet.com, or via CIVCAST The project is estimated at $60K to replace the roof of the fire department. Attached bidders should find the original roof drawings for reference. The Existing roof is shingles that were damaged by hail. The bid requires contractor to start work within 30-days of award. The project entails removing the old roof and associated components and installing a new one for approximately 11,700 Enclose at approximately 6:12 pitch. In more details the bid should encompass the following: Removal of existing shingles w/ Haul off & include dump and fees Check for soft/rotten wood Synthetic underlayment 940' of Owens Corning Shingle Starter Strip - 6 5/8" f you have any questions, please e-mail Eric Belaj at: ebelaj@cityofburnet.com. The new roof should be no less than a 30-yr warranty type. A bid security of 5% of the bid amount must accompany each bid or proposal. A certified check or bank draft payable to the City of Burnet may be submitted in lieu of the Bid Bond. All work bid will be totally completed within 40 calendar days.
