No definite date for the rebid.** The City of Conyers is seeking Proposals from qualified contractors interested in providing all labor, materials, and equipment for the RV Lot Reconfiguration at the Georgia International Horse Park, located at 1996 Centennial Olympic Parkway, Conyers, GA 30012. project includes reconfiguration of the existing rv lot at the georgia international horse park to include new layout of parking bays and installation of new utilities to include water, sewer and power. existing utilities will be abandoned in place and/or capped or removed. land disturbance will be limited toutility installation and reconfiguration of parking bays. The City desires to enter into a turn-key contract for the purpose of providing all materials, labor, and equipment for the reconfiguration of the RV Lot at the Georgia International Horse Park (GIHP), located at 1996 Centennial Olympic Parkway, Conyers, GA 30012. The existing RV Lot currently consists of 50 (fifty) RV parking spaces that were put together in the area that housed the Groom's Quarters during the 1996 Summer Olympics. The area has 21 (twenty-one) sewer drops that can be shared by two campers at a time. Each space has 20-amp, 30-amp and/or 50-amp power and water connections. The spaces are not user friendly as they have the utilities spread out over different distances and at inconvenient places along the sides of the RV spaces. In addition, the spaces are not utilizing the room allowed in an efficient manner. 2. Description: The scope of this project is to reconfigure the layout of the RV spaces to maximize use of the existing lot by creating 65 (sixty-five) new RV spaces. New utility services will include a 1" PVCwater line, 8" PVC (& 4" PVC service) sanitary sewer, and 20/30/50-amp electrical services so that all connections are on the left side of the RV space when the RV backs or pulls into the space. Existing utilities shall be removed or capped and abandoned in place, as approved by the City. Utilities shall be installed as per the 2018 National Electric Code (NEC), 2018 International Plumbing Code (IPC), and the 2018 International Mechanical Code (IMC), with Georgia Amendments. The construction plans contain the necessary details for layout of the spaces along with the proposed alignment of the water and sewer services. The electrical alignment shall be coordinated with the City Project Manager and the Electrician. Back in spaces are shown at 60 degrees to the drive aisle while pull in spaces may be 60 or 90 degrees to the drive aisle, depending on the location. The RV spaces are to be laid out and delineated with railroad cross ties and anchored with rebar for ease of future repair and maintenance by GIHP staff. Widths are to be 30.0 feet wide by 55.0 feet deep with various drive aisle widths. Work Completed by February 28, 2023 |
