Fire Protection Equipment Maintenance and Service

Scope of Services 1. Contract should be based on Fire Code of New York State 2010 (19 NYCRR 1225) and based on NFPA 25 and Fire Alarm Systems as referenced in NFPA 72 Code compiled by the NEW YORK STATE OFFICE OF FIRE PREVENTION & CONTROL 2. Inspection Reports (required is thoroughly documented, and maintained as required in the 2010 New York State Fire Code) 3. Emergency Service Response 24-hour basis from Monday to Friday. First 2 hours FREE for each emergency service call - covered by the contract. 4. Equipment Repair – Contractor should provide hourly labor rate for regular hours, overtime hours, holidays hours. 5. Online access needed to inspection reports, invoices, work orders. 6. Central Station Fire Monitoring with online access (Currently Under: Rapid Response Monitoring Services) 7. Portable Fire Extinguishers 8. Wet Sprinkler System - inspection, testing 9. Fire Pump Electric Motor Driven- inspection, testing 10. Hydrants / FDNY connection - inspection, testing 11. 2 x Edwards EST-3 Fire Alarm Panels - inspection, testing (based on 200+ initiating devices) a. Initiating Devices b. Alarm Notification Devices c. Local Alarms d. Emergency Voice/Alarm Communications Equipment e. Remote Annunciators f. Central Station System g. Sensitivity Testing for Smoke detectors h. Sensitivity Testing for CO detectors i. Every 5-year internal inspection of the sprinkler j. Every 5-year hydro test of the FDC 12.
