Description

Project No: 609030 WORK DESCRIPTION: The Work under this contract includes remodel of an 18,400 square foot, single story office building to include new sleeping quarters, restroom facilities, laundry facilities, a commercial kitchen, dining and lounge areas, office and conference rooms, and an emergency backup generator. Other items of work include site improvements, new HVAC and mechanical systems, plumbing and electrical upgrades, installation of a new sprinkler system, and structural modifications. This project will be federally funded in part with Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds (CSLFRF), Assistance Listing Number 21.027. Awarded bidder and all subcontractors shall be required to meet the federal provisions as stated within Appendix II to Part 200 - Contract Provisions for Non-Federal Entity Contracts under Federal Awards (See Exhibit 1).. BID SECURITY: Bid security in the amount of 5 percent of the bid must accompany each bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. AWARD: The City of Salem ("City") reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities, and to postpone the award of the contract for forty-five (45) days.
