Description

Well #18 Pump and Motor Replacement Submit all questions via email to coqamble@albanyqa.gov cc: jswilliams@albanyqa.gov. The deadline for questions is October 10, 2022, at 2:30 p.m The work to be done is at 2402 Dawson Road in Albany, Georgia described 18 Motor/Pump replacement. This is for the replacement of the motor and pump per The Water Well Standards Act (12- 5-120 thru 138). The contractor is responsible for all permits. The Contractor must be a Certified Licensed Georgia Well Driller. The contractor shall keep the work area and adjacent areas clean at all times. Clean up operations shall be conducted on a consistent basis. The contractor shall conduct the construction operations with the appropriate level of care to ensure the safety of the public utilizing the facility. Employees of the contractor and any subcontractors shall be cognizant of the fact that the project is in a residential/commercial area and conduct themselves in an appropriate manner. Furnish and install a submersible turbine pump designed for 700GPM @60PSI discharge pressure to include the following: o (1) Gould's 8"- 5 stage submersible turbine with 100HP with a Franklin, 460Volt Franklin submersible motor. o (1) check valve (Flowmatic or equivalent.) o 260' of 6" X 0.280 wall T&C drop pipe. 280' size 3/0, 60 degree C submersible cable with ground. (1) splice kit for 3/0 cable. (26) S.S bands w/rubber hose for cable support. (1) 1" X 36" Sq Base plate with anchor bolts. o (1) 6" X 18" fabricated steel discharge head with 12" X 12" junction box. 260' of continuous airline.
