Description

The City of Sumner is requesting interested consulting firms to submit a Proposal for the development of a City of Sumner 2024 Comprehensive Plan Periodic Update and related SEPA Environmental documents. The selected consultant will develop a 2024 Comprehensive Plan (the "Plan") for the City of Sumner, Washington, that is consistent with the requirements of RWC 36.70A Growth Management for periodic plan updates, Pierce County Countywide Planning Policies and the Puget Sound Regional Council's Vision 2050. This effort will include updating Sumner's existing 2022 Comprehensive Plan elements, including the Housing Element, Environment Element, Transportation Element, Capital Facilities Element, Transportation Plan and Capital Facilities Plan. The project will also include preparation of the related Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement.
