HVAC Systems and Plumbing - Hope Fair Housing Center

Fair Housing Center You are cordially invited to submit a proposal as a General Contractor for work specified for this project. HOPE Fair Housing Center: 202 W Willow Ave, Wheaton, IL 60187, will receive sealed proposals for HVAC SYSTEMS AND PLUMBING (including replacing chiller and boiler and related plumbing and necessary electrical) CD22- 06 to be let as a single Contract. Minority and women owned businesses (mbe/wbe) are encouraged to submit bids on this project. Section 3 businesses and laborers are encouraged to submit bids on this project. Federal labor standards, prevailing wage rates, and section 3 regulations will apply to this project. Bid documents may be obtained via email request to michael.chavarria@hopefair.org. Each Contractor shall deposit with his proposal a bond executed by the contractor and a surety company, or a certified check, or cashiers check, payable to HOPE Fair Housing Center in the amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount of the proposal. The successful Contractor shall furnish a Performance Bond in the amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract sum as a security for the faithful performance of this Contract and, a Labor and Mechanical Payment Bond in an amount of not less than one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract sum as a security for the payment of all persons performing labor on the Project under this Contract and furnishing materials in connection with this Contract. HOPE Fair Housing Center reserves the right to reject any and all bids and waive minor irregularities in any bid. Although a firm timeline for construction has not been determined, construction is not expected to commence prior to May 2023.
