Description

The work shall consist essentially of the following items: o Removal of Concrete Sidewalk and Combination Curb & Gutter o Installation of 4" Concrete Sidewalk The above general outline of features of the work does not in any way limit the responsibility of the contractor to perform all work and furnish all plant, labor, equipment and materials required by the specifications and the drawings referred to therein. The attention of bidders is directed to the Contract Provisions governing selection and employment of labor. Minimum wage rates for Federal-Aid projects have been predetermined by the Secretary of Labor and are subject to Public Law 87-581 Work Hours Act of 1962, as set forth in the Contract Provisions All Bidders must submit to the Office of Civil Rights for approval, Form OCR-481 (DBE Commitment) no later than the 3 rd business day after opening of the bids to satisfy the Department and that adequate good faith efforts have been made to meet the contract goal.
