Replacement of Surficial Aquifer Well HR-8A

The Work is generally described as follows. The project entails demolition of one (1) existing wellhead including civil, mechanical, and electrical/instrumentation equipment, abandonment of surficial aquifer production well HR-8A, construction of one (1) test well with interval sampling and one (1) new surficial aquifer production well HR-8B, installation of one (1) wellhead, sitework, and associated electrical and instrumentation necessary to serve the well within the Hood Road wellfield. The well construction work includes pilot hole drilling/reaming, new casing installation, cement grouting, and well development/testing. The CONTRACTOR shall furnish/install new wellhead appurtenances, concrete pad, pumps, piping and all required civil, electrical, and instrumentation work for a fully-functioning system as shown on the drawings and specifications.
