Description

The Town of Goffstown is seeking proposals for Design/Build of a replacement pit scale at the Transfer Station. The current scale is a 10'x40' Cardinal H10040-SRC concrete deck scale and model 205 indicator, interfaced with SMS Turbo software.The Company shall be expected to perform all professional services consistent with the industryaccepted roles of a Design/Build Company. In general, they shall include, but shall not necessarily be limited to: o Providing design drawings and proposed equipment to be approved by the Town for the construction of the proposed project. o Ensuring all work is compliant with current OSHA regulations o Attending meetings with the Town as necessary, throughout the design and construction processes. o Assuming charge of, and responsibility for, the Design / Build process for this project. o Providing recommendations regarding potential design improvements, materials, equipment selections, and cost/time saving alternatives. o Assuming charge of, and responsibility for, all Project construction scheduling, including but not limited to, all construction activities as well as integrating the schedules related to work provided by any vendors/subcontractors. o Offer value engineering input to the Town to achieve cost savings and meet budget objectives. o Managing the Transfer Station Truck Scale Project from notice to proceed to final sign-off of the project. o Managing site work related to project. o Creating and enforcing project budgets. o Develop and maintain pre-construction and project construction schedules, which shall identify all major project milestones and significant activities. o Communicating and training staff for operation of the new equipment.
