Copper King Roof Restoration

The Copper King Elementary School Roof Restoration addresses existing roofs across 11 campus buildings totaling 92,000 square feet. The project involves the replacement of all the existing fiberglass shingles, underlayment and flashings with new 30-year Architectural Style shingles, as well as the restoration of existing built-up roof systems with the application of a roof coating system warranted for 10-years. All the existing roof framing and decking is wood. Many of the shingled buildings have several unit skylights which are to be removed and the openings covered with wood decking. The scope of work also includes required refurbishments to flashings and roof penetrations, roof drains, masonry control joint sealants, metal copings and the proper support of all piping, conduit and equipment legs.
