Description

The Bids Must Be Accompanied by 1. A Proposal Bond Approved by the County Solicitor in an Amount Equal to 10% of Total Bid, but Not in Excess of $20,000.00. 2. A certificate (Consent of Surety) as per N.J.S.A. 40A:11-22 from a Surety Company stating that it will provide the bidder if successful, with a performance bond and payment bond in the sum of not less than the total contract. 3. A completed Non-Collusion Affidavit. 4. A Completed Public Disclosure Information Sheet indicating stockholders in the Corporation or Partnership who owns 10% or more of its stock as provided in Chapter 33 of the Public laws of 1977. 5. Wage and Hour Compliance Acknowledgment. 6. Plan and Equipment Questionnaire. 7. Business Registration Certificate, including all sub-contractors. The Purchasing Agent or The Board of County Commissioners, reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive any irregularities and to award the contract to the bidder whose proposal is best suited to the County's requirements. Any bid obviously unbalanced may be rejected. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27, laws against discrimination because of race, religion, sex, color, etc. All bidders are hereby notified that compliance with the New Jersey Prevailing Wage Act (Chapter 150, Law of 1963) and/or County of Gloucester rules and regulations that are applicable to this project will be required of any contract awarded. Each Bid must be signed in ink by an authorized representative of the company, and be delivered at the place and on the hour named .If mailed, the sealed bid envelop must be within an outer mailing envelope, and be received at the Office of the County Purchasing Agent prior to the hour named. The design of this project was completed by the owners in-house design professional.
