Description

Removal of the fuel pumps at City Lot including all closure reports as required by law. The fuel tanks may be filled and left in place or removed. If the fuel tanks are removed, then the holes shall be filled with structural fill to match existing grade. Removal of the pumps includes removal of the fuel pumps, removal of the concrete island, any accessory items such as vent pipes and controllers, and all accessories at the islands. Any ground cover that is removed shall be replaced with structural fill. The contractor is responsible for coordination with the City of Savannah Fire Marshall and State of Georgia Fire Marshall as appropriate. The contractor is to follow all local, state, and federal laws regarding the removal and disposal (including capping in place of the underground storage tanks).
