Description | The owner has selected a Design Builder which is Terra Construction. A timeline for construction has not yet been established Veterinary Medical Center South CT Scan Replacement Construction Services for replacement of a CT scanner in Veterinary Medical Center South, located in Saint Paul of the Twin Cities campus. Refer to the Request for Proposal documents (found in the Attachments tab) for full project details/requirements. Before submitting questions about the RFP via the Questions Tab, read and review the RFX INSTRUCTIONS, REQUIREMENTS, AND RIGHTS RESERVED BY THE UNIVERSITY DOCUMENT and ALL Attributes in the Attributes Tab. These provide valuable information and address frequently asked questions Deadline for RFP Questions October 24, 2022 at Noon The total construction budget for this Project is $248,050 (current dollars, no escalation). The College of Veterinary Medicine is interested in replacing an existing CT scanner located in Suite 2A214 of the Veterinary Medical Center South. A selection has been made for the new scanner and associated equipment - a Siemens RS Somatom Drive / CPQ-4444242. The existing system was not traded in to Siemens for the new one so the removal is not within their scope. However, Vet Med has identified a buyer and is working directly with them for removal. Contractor may need to help with disconnecting utilities. The University now seeks the services of a contractor to complete the area identified in the attached RFP Documents. Scope of Work includes interior demolition and renovation to support the scanner installation. The suite is approximately 750 gsf. Busch Architects is the Architect/Engineer of Record for the Project. |
