| Description | 1. Work of the Project includes installation of approximately 14,325 linear feet of low pressure sewer and approximately 143 house laterals, along with all concrete structures, piping, fittings, and all other appurtenances to properly complete the project. 2. Hydrostatic testing will be required for all pipe installed under this contract. 3. The sewer shall be installed using horizontal direction drilling technology. Open cut excavation shall be permitted for lateral taps, bore entry and exit pits (minimum 400 feet apart) and structure installation. Any open cut excavation needed will require full road overlay as part of the restoration requirements. The cost of the road overlay shall be considered incidental to the project costs. |
