UCTR Athletic Locker Remodel

Questions & Substitution Requests Due: September 2, 2022, 5:00PM Email questions to Mariness Falcon at submit@uccs.edu The project includes the interior remodel of the existing athletic locker rooms in the University Center serving the university's basketball and volleyball teams, and the existing visiting locker room in the Gallogly Events Center. The area of renovation is approximately 2,555 sf which will accomplish the following: (1) Reconfiguring the existing home team lockers space currently serving three court sport teams Mens Basketball, Womens Basketball, and Women's Volleyball, currently located in the north portion of the University Center, and create two locker rooms for the two basketball home teams. (2) Remodel of the existing visiting team locker room in the adjacent Gallogly Events Center to create the new home team locker room for Women's Volleyball. (3) These new locker room spaces will also be utilized for visiting teams. (4) These new locker room spaces will serve as important recruiting tools for UCCS Mountain Lion Athletics programs, as an accredited member of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division II in the premiere Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC). Scope of services required to complete the renovation as noted above and described in the provided bid documents and drawings. Based on the proposed schedule of work, these areas will be vacated by the occupants for the duration of the project. However, there will be active tenants/occupants directly adjacent the proposed work area. Liquidated damages apply to this project as noted in the Contractor's Design/Bid/Build (D/B/B) Agreement (State Form SC-6.21) included in this document.
