Public Safety Facility Planning Services

To receive competitive proposals from qualified architectural firms who are interested in assisting the City in the development of a Public Safety Facility. The work intended will include planning work to establish a concept, and may lead to further design work to bring concept to fruition, and bidding services to identify a contractor to implement the design. The facility will house our Police Department and Fire/EMS Department once complete. The need for the expansion of these services within a new facility has been previously identified within a Space Utilization and Facilities Study and Public Safety Analysis performed by Bray Architects in 2012 and updated in 2018. The successful consultant will need to be dynamic and engaging in order to develop a facility that is a shared while maintaining the necessary secure independence between the entities occupying the space.
