Description | 1. Clean and prep existing cement sports court. 2. Lance and/or grind cracks and expansion joints to create a smooth surface to allow the tiles to lay flat without any voids. 3. Fill cracks and joints over 1/2 " wide with flexible cement caulking. 4. Provide and install approximately 7,200 square feet of Sport Court high-performance Power Game surface system using the manufactured 12" x 12" x 5/8" tiles. 5. Paint full court basketball lines. 6. Paint the CCC logo at mid-court. 7. Provide and install (2) 7248 Power Slam Adjustable Systems. 72" x 42" w/ TrueBounce shatterproof backboards, 4' extension arms, 6" x 8" poles, galvanized and powder-coated w/ full padding for safety. 8. Hoop installation to include (2) footings and removal of two (2) existing hoops and poles. 9. Provide and install two (2) basketball hoop Game Lights Contractor to provide all labor, tools, equipment, materials, licensing, permits and taxes necessary to provide the CCC Los Padres Center with the sport court overlay. Due to this being the second time posted, if you attended the first walkthrough, it is not mandatory to attend this new date. Bid will still be eligible for re-submission. Subcontractors may not represent a potential prime contractor at a pre-bid conference or site inspection. If this pre-bid site inspection is mandatory, no bid will be accepted unlessthe bidder or his authorized representative was in attendance. For contractors who need assistance due to a physical impairment, a reasonable accommodation can be provided, upon request, for the pre-bid conference or site inspection. The contractor must call the contact person(s) listed below no later than the fifth working day prior to the scheduled date and time of the pre-bid conference/site inspection to arrange for a reasonable accommodation. The term of this Agreement is upon approvals through 06/30/2023. The actual starting date of the contract is contingent upon approval of the agreement by the CCC and any other control agencies as necessary. Contractor shall possess at time of Bid and for the duration of the Agreement a current and valid B-License - General Contractor issued by the California Contractors State Licensing Board. Anticipated Intent to Award 01/06/2023 Last (5) day protest period 01/13/2023 Anticipated Award Date 01/13/2023 The insurance requirements are specified in the General Terms and Conditions for Construction section 11.1 Page 43 of 49. In accordance with the provisions of Section 1770, 1773 and 1773.1 of the Labor Code, the Director of the Department of Industrial Relations has ascertained general prevailing wage rates in the county in which the work is to be performed. The rates of prevailing wage are determined by the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR), Labor Statistics and Research. The Prevailing Wages Rate as specified by the department of Industrial Relations are available on the DIR portal. Payment Bond: A payment bond as required in Section 11.3 of the General Terms and Conditions of the Contract for Construction is required if this bid is in excess of $25,000. This bond covers the costs of labor and/or materials provided by the contractor's employees, subcontractors, and suppliers in the event the contractor fails to make those payments.
