Iron Lake Toilet Replacement Project - Salmon Challis National Forest

This project is to replace existing two single-vault toilets with one double-vault toilet at Iron Lake Campground. Work includes, but is not limited to, arranging to have existing toilets pumped empty prior to removal; removing and disposing of existing toilet buildings and vaults; excavating and preparing the sites for a new vault toilet; and backfilling and compacting around the new vault after placement. The contractor is responsible for coordinating toilet replacement with the pre-cast concrete toilet manufacturer. The manufacturer is responsible for delivery, placement, and assembly of the new toilet. The Government will stake the locations of the new toilet to establish their orientation to assure proper functioning. The new building will be at the same location as the existing facility.
