Description Nourish beaches in Sectors 3, 5, and 7. Sectors 1 and 2 are separately addressed by the Sebastian Inlet District. Sand placement for the County Projects may be limited to the dune and berm with limited material placed into the water. The current estimated sediment needs for County projects are as follows: Sector 3: 500K cubic yards Sector 5: 200K cubic yards Sector 7: 400K cubic yards Post-storm: volume needs vary, and may be as small as a couple hundred cubic yards, or as much as tens of thousands of cubic yards, or more.
