Description | The Work consists of furnishing all labor, materials, tools, equipment and incidentals necessary for construction of a 2.0 million gallon prestressed concrete water tank and feeder main at 951 Peeples Valley Road in Bartow County, Georgia. The Work consists of two Divisions described herein. Bidders may submit bids for one or both Divisions. Division One: Consists of one 2.0 million gallon prestressed concrete tank, including foundation, underdrain piping, site work, site piping, tank accessories, and tank mixing system; all with related valves, fittings, connections, anchors & supports, hydrostatic testing, disinfection, painting, fencing, erosion control, finish grading, demolition of the existing 1.0 million gallon welded steel water tank, stone asphalt pavement, grassing, and clean-up. Division Two: Approx. 1,264 LF of 24-inch DIP water main and one 24-inch butterfly valve at Water Tower Road, all with related, flushing, hydrostatic testing, and disinfection, traffic control, clearing, erosion control, grassing, restoration, and clean-up. The Project will be funded by the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA). Payment for the Work will be made on the basis of Contractor's periodic Applications-for-Payment processed by the Engineer. In accordance with O.C.G.A. 43-41-1, Bidders must submit a photocopy of their Georgia Contractor License. Contractors and comply with all provisions of the "Georgia Security and Immigration Compliance Act" (O.C.G.A. 13-10-91 and O.C.G.A. 50-36-1). The Successful Bidder must certify compliance with all applicable state and federal laws regarding maintaining a drug-free workplace and certify compliance with federal Executive Order 11246 regarding Equal Employment Opportunity. The Successful Bidder must comply with federal Labor Standards and Prevailing Wage Requirements (Davis Bacon Wages), and all other state and federal laws and regulations applicable to funding under by the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) to be administered under Georgia Environmental Finance Authority's State Revolving Fund (SRF) program. The right is reserved by the Owner to delay the award of the Contract for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of opening of the bids, during which time the bids shall remain open and not subject to withdrawal. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any and all technicalities or informalities. If any award is made, the award will be made to the responsible and responsive Bidder of each Division having the lowest Total Base Bid plus selected alternatives. |
