As of July 12, 2022, project was awarded to SC Valley Engineering Inc., with an awarded amount of $3,720,494. Construction is expected to start in August Goals for minority participation for each trade 16.9% Goals for female participation in each trade 6.9% The project consists of replacing approximately 5,800 linear feet of 6-inch, 8- inch and 12-inch diameter, 1940s and 1950s vintage cast-iron pipe in Chambers Street, West Cypress Avenue, Manor Drive, Alley (south of Linda Way), Alley (north of Linda Way), and East Madison Avenue with approximately 6,200 linear feet of 8-inch and 12-inch diameter PVC pipe within the City of El Cajon.
