Jellerson Road Culvert Replacement

The Town of Waterboro Department of Public Works is seeking bids for the replacement of a 40' 36" culvert located on Jellerson Road at what is referred to as Cook's Brook. This is considered a maintenance project and will not change the width or location of the current location of the culvert being replaced. Outline of Work: Replacement of an existing 36" culvert with a 40' span. The installation of this culvert will include: o Excavation o Installation of 40'x48" culvert (1 foot below base) o Backfill, gravel, stone and base and pavement o Appropriate erosion control measures are to be applied and removed upon completion Contractor shall indicate anticipated time road shall be closed, which cannot exceed 8 hours. The project must be completed by September 30, 2022. The Town of Waterboro reserves the right to waive any formalities, to reject any or all bids, to accept a bid or sections of a bid and to negotiate a revised scope of services should it be deemed in the best interest of the Town of Waterboro to do so
