| Description | The intent of this RFI is to gather information and gain an enhanced understanding of the current market for emergency services that Citizens would utilize during catastrophe operations in the State of Florida, including industry practices, pricing models, and service options available to Citizens. Citizens seeks information regarding services designed to be flexible, effective and efficient in support of Citizens’ response following the declaration of an emergency in one or more Florida counties. By providing answers to the questions in Section IV below, respondents can inform Citizens of the products and services available. This RFI seeks market information from Vendors that provide any of the following services: 1. Portable restroom (air conditioned or non-air conditioned) rentals • Bathroom trailer for an emergency response situation; • Requested volume at time of notification ranges from 2-8 stations; • Delivery and installation during CAT Operations within 72 hours of advance notification given by Citizens; • Cleaning and maintenance services. 2. Portable Diesel Powered Emergency Generators • Approximately 72 amps on single phase or 55kw; • Requested volume at time of notification ranges from 2 - 4 units; • Support large trailers for Citizens operations, restrooms, etc.; • Maintenance and Support. 3. Emergency Diesel Re-fueling • Delivery to Citizens CAT Operations sites (State of Florida); • Delivery required within 24 hours of advance notice given by Citizens; • Requested volume at time of notification ranges from 30 to 240 gallons. 4. Potable Water and Food-Grade Ice Delivery • Delivery and staging to Citizens CAT Operations sites (State of Florida); • Delivery required within 72 hours of advance notice given by Citizens; • Requested volume at time of notification ranges from 10-20 cases of water, and 10-20 ten pound bags of ice. 5. Armed Security Officer Services • Licensed / Trained / Certified; • 24 / 7 coverage; • 12 hour shifts ; • Transportation and housing of guards; • Service commencement within 48 hours advance notice given by Citizens. 6. Portable diesel powered light tower rentals. • Delivery and staging to Citizens CAT Operations sites (State of Florida); • Delivery required within 48 hours of advance notice given by Citizens; • Requested volume at time of notification ranges from 2-4 units. As part of the RFI process, respondents may be requested to provide an online or onsite demonstration. These demonstrations are optional and will be at no expense to Citizens. | ||
