Replacement of Fuel Oil Tank 3

The scope of work generally includes the following: Demolition of existing diesel Fuel Oil Tank No. 3 (FOT #3) and appurtenant outdoor fuel piping adjacent to the existing tank. Blind-flanging and abandoning in-place the existing underground fuel oil piping between the existing tank and the NIRO Building. Providing a new, rectangular, 4,000 gallon minimum capacity FOT #3, and appurtenant equipment at the southwest corner of the NIRO Building that complies with the setback requirements of the National Fire Protection Association`s NFPA30 and the International Building Code BC 2015, NJ Edition, complete with piping and instrumentation necessary for a complete and operable system. Providing new single and double containment piping complete with supports, valves and appurtenances necessary to connect the new FOT #3 to the existing NIRO fuel system pumps located at the Basement Level of the NIRO Building. Construct concrete pads and modify the existing containment area to support the new FOT #3. Provide electrical controls, instrumentation, and modifications as required to utilize the existing Pneumercator liquid level control system located at the Basement Level of the NIRO Building for the new FOT #3.
