Description

a) Fiberglass liner in 10’ X 24’ wet-well. b) 40’ Rohn Tower RTU antenna mast and all associated conduit and wiring. Installed to the latest Brevard County Utilities standards. c) 2 - 20’ concrete light poles with CREE LED, series STR-LWY light fixtures. d) Conduit, wiring and 60-minute twist timer for pole lights. e) Remove existing 6” ductile iron force main (Lift Station T-10 force main) and 90-degree fitting coming in to the wet well and replace with 6” HDPE force main and fittings. All wet-well piping and fittings shall be HDPE. All HDEP joints and connections shall be electrofused; mechanical joints will not be accepted. All connectors and fittings shall be heat welded. No ferrous metal fittings or fasteners will be accepted; all fasteners shall be 316 L stainless steel.) The HDPE force main piping shall be securely fastened to wet well wall using 316 L stainless steel strut and fasteners – see Detail US-39 in Appendix. f) Replace Lift Station T-10 force main under new above ground valve assembly with approximately 15’ of 6” HDPE piping. Connect 6” riser piping to above ground valve assembly and connect force main discharge piping to to existing force main. The new above ground valve assembly shall be relocated approximately 30 degrees clockwise from its current location. All above ground piping shall be ductile iron (US-33). Note: Install 4” Male Camlock with cap and 6” to 4” reducer for emergency bypass connection on force main discharge piping. g) 6” isolation gate valve. h) 316L stainless steel pipe supports in wet-well. i) Concrete pad under valve assembly (minimum 6” thick). j) New 12” thick wet-well top slab and hatch cover with BCUSD approved safety grate (round wet-well 10’ diameter and minimum 36” X 48” aluminum hatch cover). k) 4” Vent pipe through top slab. l) By-pass pumping with 24-hour monitoring. m) Paint all above ground piping and valves in accordance with Brevard County Utilities Standards, Section 09900 Painting, page 09900-2. Color shall match Pantone Color Code for Sanitary Sewer (including force main) – Pantone 3415C.
