DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION OF QUESTIONS/CLARIFICATIONS: MONDAY, MARCH 6 th, 2023 @ 12:00 PM EST 9. SUBMIT BID TO THE SCOPE OF WORK Appendix A includes the following Bid Documents: LOC A Tool Crib Renovation: July 22, 2022, 162-page Technical Specifications and 22-page drawing set. LOC B Wellness Center Renovation: July 22, 2022, 110-page Technical Specifications and 16- page drawing set. INTRODUCTION: LYNX has the following two (2) projects which includes the following improvements at LYNX Operations Center (LOC) per address indicated herein: Project A located at 2475 LYNX Ln, Orlando FL, 32804, in Building A "Tool Crib Renovation": The existing 18 ft. x 56 ft. tool crib and open office space area will be renovated into a training room,2 offices and a break room. This work includes associated architectural, electrical, mechanical, and fire protection modifications. Also included is a new 20 x 11 Tool Cage to be installed in the existing maintenance bay area. Project B located at 2500 LYNX Ln, Orlando FL, 32804, in Building B "Wellness Center Renovation": The existing wellness center will be expanded by 9 ft x 29 ft. This will require removing the existing wall and extending it 9 ft. This work includes associated architectural, electrical, mechanical, and fire protection modifications. Additional work includes new acoustical ceiling tiles and wall insulation for the entire 972 SF wellness center room. SCOPE OF WORK: General requirements for the combined work phases include approximately: x Demolition of doors, walls, ceiling and carpeting and dumpster rental x Installation of 1 double door and 4 single door and hardware x 1,800 SF of new ceiling panels and grid work. x 32 YD of carpeting x 512 SF of epoxy flooring x 3,060 SF wall paint 3 coats x 5 - Door paint x 5 - Upper cabinets and lower cabinet with tops x 1 - Metal mesh cage x 300 SF wall insulation x 768 SF ceiling insulation x 950 SF Blown in insulation x 2 - Door power supply and electric hardware x 8 - Duct accessories, dampers and diffusers x 560 LB Metal ductwork x 26 LF Metal ductwork spiral x 560 SF Duct thermal insulation blanket x 135 LF copper piping and insulation x 1 - 15kVA, 480/277-208/120V, 3-ph Step Down Transformer with wall mount supports x 1 -60A MCB, 208/120V, 3-ph Panel x 600 LF 3/4 " conduit x 1,700 LF Conductors #12 x 28 - 2 x 4 Lighting fixtures x 21 - Receptacles x 7 - Occupancy sensors x 3 - Data\Telecom outlets and cable x 300 LF Telecom cable (Cat6) x 3 - VAV Disc Switch x 5 - 20A/1 pole Breakers x 2,502 SF Sprinkler renovation - existing building x 100 LF Conduit (1") Units: LB-pounds, LF-linear feet, SF-square feet, & YD-yards. LYNX will hold an additional site visit at 2500 LYNX Ln, Orlando, FL, 32804 (LYNX’s Operation Center B Lobby) on Monday, March 6th, 2023 @ 11:00am e.s.t to allow potential contractors to walk around the project’s facility.
