Lawn Care Services at DMV West Henrico Customer Service Center

1. Lawn care and grounds maintenance includes all exterior areas of the DMV property; areas to be maintained include all: grassed areas, mulched areas, flowers, shrubs, trees, parking lots, drainage ditches, walkways, driveways, and any other area(s) not specifically mentioned but located within theproperty. 2. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, equipment, supplies, and materials to provide lawn care and grounds maintenance services in accordance with the requirements set forth herein. On-site storage will not be provided. All equipment must be maintained in good operating condition and be of sufficient quantities to adequately perform all services, and must be available at the time of service. As applicable, all equipment must be OSHA certified and/or meet all OSHArequirements. 3. Landscaped areas, lawns, shrubs, parking lots, and any other decorative vegetation shall be maintained in a manner that presents a well-groomed appearance, promotes survival and uniformity, and prevents noxious/invasive weeds and woody vegetation. The Contractor shall mow, string trim, pull weeds, spray weed killer, and trim bushes and hedges during every visit if necessary. 4. Grounds maintenance services shall be performed in an efficient and workmanlike manner consistent with the highest generally accepted industry standards for the task being performed. 5. All mowing, cutting, and trimming shall be done with the utmost regard for customer and DMV staff safety,as well as the protection of public and personal property.
