Description | The New Hockey Locker & Concession Facility project consists of furnishing all labor, materials, supervision, tools and equipment necessary to prepare the site, and supply/construct a new 2-level wood frame and masonry building of approximately 3,150 square feet per level. Facility will include 3,640 sq. ft. of finished area for hockey locker rooms, 1,248 sq. ft. of finished concession area with public restrooms, and a 1,412 sq. ft. semi-finished storage area. The site will be fully improved with new utility connections, concrete aprons, asphalt pavement patching/replacement, landscaping, exterior stairs and ramp, etc. Demolition of the existing concession building and other site related demolition is to be included as shown on the plans. Refer also to Instructions To Bidders; Section 3 – Scope of Work, in this Project Manual. The Construction Manager will manage the construction of the Project. Construction shall be in full accordance with the Bidding Documents, which are on file with the Owner and may be examined by prospective bidders at the following locations: Professional Building Services, Inc. 111 1/2 West Joliet Street Crown Point, IN 46307 Bid security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the Bid must accompany each Bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The successful Bidders will be required to furnish Performance and Payment Bonds for one hundred percent (100%) of their Contract amount prior to execution of Contracts. Contractors submitting bids for the performance of any Work as specified in this building Project should make such Bids to Crown Point Community School Corporation. Contractors are advised that the Contract as finally entered into with any successful Bidder may be entered into with either the School Corporation or the Building Corporation or certain portions of the Contract may be entered into by both the School Corporation and the Building Corporation. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any Bid (and to waive any irregularities in bidding. All Bids may be held for a period not to exceed 60 days before awarding contracts. |
