Description | 2023 for Cornelia Drive from CR 78 to Northern Terminus Road Resurfacing Improvements & Crescent Avenue SW Roadway Improvements from CR 78 North to Everett St SW. The Owner Reserves the Right to Retain All Bids Submitted and to Use Any Ideas in a Proposal Regardless of Whether That Bid is Selected. Submission of a Bid Indicates Acceptance by the Firm of the Conditions Contained in This Invitation to Bid Unless It is Clearly and Specifically Noted Otherwise in the Bid and Again Confirmed in the Contract Between the Glades County Board of County Commissioners and the Firm Selected. The Glades County Board of County Commissioners Encourages Minority-owned and Small Businesses to Participate in Bidding On This Project. The Owner Also Reserves the Right to Waive Irregularities and Technicalities and to Re-advertise for Additional Bids. All Costs and Expenses Related to the Preparation and Submission of a Bid Are the Responsibility of the Bidder. Upon Receiving All Approved Bids, the Owner Will Evaluate the Prices and Other Response Information Received From the Bidders to Determine Which Bids Are Responsive to the Invitation to Bid and, if in Fact, the Project Can Be Constructed to Its Total Length Based Upon the Bid Prices of Responsive Bids. If the Winning Bid Exceeds the Owner Funds for the Project, the Owner Reserves the Right to Reduce the Project Length by Adjusting the Beginning Project Station. The Owner Reserves the Right to Reject All Bids, Terminate the Process, or Re-advertise and Solicit New or Additional Bids. The Owner Reserves the Right to Retain All Bids Submitted and to Use Any Ideas in a Proposal Regardless of Whether That Bid is Selected. Submission of a Bid Indicates Acceptance by the Firm of the Conditions Contained in This Invitation to Bid Unless It is Clearly and Specifically Noted Otherwise in the Bid and Again Confirmed in the Contract Between the Glades County Board of County Commissioners and the Firm Selected. In the Event That Litigation Occurs as a Result of a Contract Between a Bidder and the Glades County Board of County Commissioners, the Prevailing Party Shall Be Awarded All Attorney's Fees and Costs Associated With Said Litigation. The Venue Shall Be in Glades County, Florida. By Submitting a Bid, Each Bidder Recognizes and Agrees That the Owner May Reject Its Bid Based Upon the Owner's Exercise of Its Sole Discretion. Every Bidder Waives Any Claims It May Have for Damages or Other Relief Resulting Directly or Indirectly From the Rejection of Its Bid Based Upon Any Ground Whatsoever, Including the Owner's Exercise of Its Sole Discretion and the Owner's Disclosure of or Refusal to Disclose Any Pertinent Information Related to the Reasons for the Owner's Rejection of Said Bid.
