Elementary School Roof and AG Shop Roof Replacement Project

Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond in the form of a certified check, cashier s check, or draft in an amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount bid. Such bid bond is to be issued by a surety authorized to do business in the State of South Dakota and must be made payable to Bowdle School District #22-1. Said bid bond shall serve as a guarantee that bidder will enter a contract with the Bowdle School District. In lieu of a bid bond, the bidder may submit a surety bond for twenty percent (20%) of the amount bid. The surety is to be payable to the Bowdle School District #22-1 as a guarantee that such bidder will enter a contract with the Bowdle School District. The Bowdle School District requires the awarded contractor to furnish a performance bond in the amount equal to the contract price. With submittal of a Bid, the Contractor represents that he/she has visited the site, familiarized himself with the local conditions under which the work is to be performed, and correlated his/her observations with the requirements of the Contract Document.
