Each Bidder shall furnish as part of pre-qualifying package, a detailed outline, schematic drawing, and descriptive bulletin of proposing switch. The drawing shall indicate overall dimensions, switch electrical ratings, total weight and relative location of bushings, operating handles, and parking stands. The descriptive bulletin shall describe basic switch construction, type of insulation and interrupting medium, switch operating mechanism, contact system, manufacturing and quality control procedures employed, electrical and mechanical ratings, sealing systems, ambient temperature range, corrosion resistance, mechanical endurance, mechanical life expectancy, and production switch tests used at the factory. The manufacturer's standard design constructed in accordance with applicable ANSI Standards is required. The outline drawing shall be attached to the bid proposal. Recommended installation method should be provided upon request. One set of manufacturer's specifications containing detailed descriptions, drawings and plans complete in general outline, dimensions and weights of the equipment proposed to be furnished as outlined in Section C2b1 through C2b4. Bids not accompanied by the specifications may be rejected.
