Description | As of August 16, 2022, bids were rejected. No definite date for the rebid. The site is located 1.03 miles west of the main intersection of US Highway 64 and US Highway 491 at Shiprock, New Mexico. The work includes the construction of general grading for access road/building/parking pads, and primary underground utilities. The construction contract will be awarded on a lump-sum basis. Bidders are subject to the Navajo Nation Business Preference Law; Title 5, Navajo Tribal Code, Section 201 through 218 and other applicable Navajo Nation Laws. Each bid must be submitted in accordance with Bidding Documents prepared by the Project Engineer, Jones & DeMille Engineering, Inc., Richfield, UT, (435) 896-8266, and Dyron Murphy Architects, P.C., Albuquerque, NM, (505) 830-0203. #501, Grand Prairie Tx 75052, www.construction.com Questions regarding this project should be addressed in writing to Dyron Murphy Architects, P.C., 4505 Montbel PL NE, Albuquerque, NM 87107, or by email at dmurphy@dm-architects.com. No pre-bid conference is scheduled however, interested contractors are encouraged to visit the site to examine existing conditions. Contact Randy E. This "Invitation to Bid" (IFB) does not commit the Owner to reimburse any costs incurred by the Bidder in the preparation of Bids or for procurement of supplies. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any informalities or irregularities when it is in the best interest of the Owner. No Bidder may withdraw his/her bid for a period of 90 days after the date of opening thereof. Bid security in the amount of 10 percent of the bid amount is required. Award announcement will be determined after bid opening date, or at the Owner's convenience.
