Description Work under General Construction shall include all labor, materials, machinery, tools, equipment, and other means of construction necessary and incidental to the completion of improvements shown in the Contract Drawings at the Pier in the City of Dunkirk and the intersection of Lakeshore Drive and Central Avenue in the City of Dunkirk. The construction includes, but is not limited to, demolition and removal, site work, excavation, backfill, grading, concrete site work, asphalt, curbing, signage and striping, accessible crosswalks, site furnishings, underground site utilities, lighting, and all other related items. Add Alternate Bid Item No. 1: NYSDOT Intersection Improvements The work under Add Alternate Bid Item No. 1 shall include all labor, materials, machinery, tools, equipment, and other means of construction necessary and incidental to the completion of the proposed improvements associated with the Central Avenue and Lakeshore Drive intersection. The work shall include all necessary demolition, removals, layout, curbing, pavement, traffic signal upgrades, accent treatments, and work zone traffic control specific to the intersection work
