Description | 11th Street Transit Parking Garage - Bid Package 2 - Earthwork, Underground Utilities, Demolition, Concrete, Landscape/Hardscape Flaherty & Collins Construction, Inc. is seeking sealed bids from qualified subcontractors to participate in the construction of a project to be located at the NW corner of East 11th Street and Pine Street within Michigan City, Indiana 46360. The project is a six (6) level precast open-air Parking Garage to be constructed as a component of a Mixed-Use and Multi-Family development on the Transit Site that includes: (a) 549 Parking Spaces; (b) Transit (train) Station; and (c) Public Rooftop Amenities. The building has a gross area of 239,897sf comprised of 192,841sf of structured parking, 12,753sf of enclosed building, and 34,303sf of limited common area.Additionally, the train station will be constructed to replicate what was the century-old train station. The Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) participation goal for this project is ten percent (10%) of the bid price. Bidders are required to make good faith efforts to meet or exceed this goal. Flaherty & Collins Construction, Inc. will award the Contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder Flaherty & Collins Construction, Inc. reserves the right to reject any and all bids and waive technical defects if, in its judgment, the interests of Flaherty & Collins Construction, Inc. so require. Flaherty & Collins Construction, Inc. reserves the right to accept any bid within 90 days after the time of the opening of the bids, during which time no bid shall be withdrawn. |
