Description

The Work to be performed under the Contract includes the rehabilitation of seventeen street segments totaling 8,300+ linear feet (LF) through a combination of patching, mill-patching, milling, and the placing of asphalt surface courses; reconstruction of seven street segments totaling 7,000+ LF by cement stabilization of the bases and subsequent placement of asphalt surface courses; construction of a new, 410+ LF Town street along with turn lanes within a NCDOT-maintained right-of way; construction of 380+ linear feet of new pavement, replacement of 240+ LF of gravity sewer, and construction of stormwater improvements at a Town-maintained dirt lane; and reconstruction of a 590+ LF street within the Historic District to include replacement of 520+ LF of gravity sewer, 590+ LF of water main, and 595+ LF of stormwater piping along with the placement of 540+ square yards of permeable concrete and 1,600 + square yards of asphalt surface course.
