Description | The Town of Richmond (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project: Public Works Facility Sand and Salt Storage Building The Project includes the following Work: The construction of a 60-foot by 120-foot sand and salt storage building with a capacity of up to 3,500 cubic yards of material at the Public Works Facility. The sand and salt storage building will include an 8-foot exposed cast-in-place concrete wall foundation, a new electrical service and power distribution panel, installation of a prefabricated fabric-style building on the cast-in-place concrete foundation, and associated site work, including grading, installation of stormwater best management practices, and paving. The designated website will be updated periodically with addenda, lists of plan holders, reports, and other information relevant to submitting a Bid for the Project. All official notifications, addenda, and other Bidding Documents will be offered only through the designated website. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the designated website. It is the Bidder's responsibility to check the designated website for addenda. Instructions to Bidders For all contract requirements regarding funding agency notifications, funding agency requirements, bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents. Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Engineer in writing.
