New Diesel Fuel Tank - Materials and Installation

County is requesting bids to replace the 12,000-gallon vertical diesel tank located at 198 Highway 34, Jackson, MO 63755. Bids received after the date and time specified will not be considered. Fax or Email bids will not be accepted. Not less than the prevailing hourly rate of wages, Annual Wage Order No. 29, as found by the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations of Missouri, shall be paid to all workers performing work under any contract over $75,000. Cape Girardeau County notifies all Bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, minority firms, women's business enterprises, and labor surplus area firms will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, religion, creed, sex, age, ancestry, or national origin in consideration for an award. The Bidder will ensure that Disadvantaged Business Enterprises will have the opportunity to participate in the performance of this contract or any subcontracts. Awards will be made to the Bidder whose Bid meets the specifications and all other requirements of the Invitation for Bid and is the lowest and best Bid, considering price, delivery, responsibility of the bidder, layout, equipment, and supplies. The County of Cape Girardeau reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and waive informalities or irregularities.
