Description | No Bid Bond required 37th St. and 6th St. Pump Station Backup Pump Specifications City of Ashland, Kentucky is accepting bids to supply one (1) replacement pump for 37th St. pump station and one (1) replacement pump for 6th St. pump stations. If you have questions or would like to inspect the job site, contact Bruce Worthington at 606-385-3192. City of Ashland reserves the right to witness any testing and any warranty evaluation disassembly if needed at its discretion. Available to provide 24 hr. Emergency service both in shop and field service. Bidder must provide a 1-year factory warranty covering parts defects and workmanship under normal wear and tear. The bidder shall be capable of satisfying the following needs: Bidders must hold an existing City of Ashland, KY business license, Kentucky electrical license, and Liability Insurance. Bidder must also employ field service technicians experienced in the general operating knowledge and experience in servicing this type of equipment. City of Ashland reserves the right to reject any bidder they deem lacks the qualifications, experience, or capabilities to perform this work. Service after the sale Bidder must also maintain an authorized warranty center (Repair Shop) within a 100-mile radius of the site with adequate facilities to safely handle equipment of this size. In house facilities must be capable of load testing with documented results to include a three-point performance test at the minimum to include, amps, volts, pressure, and flow. Pump Test The pump manufacturer shall perform a standard three point performance test at the minimum. Additionally, the check of the motor voltage and frequency shall be equivalent to the details listed on the pump name plate. A motor and cable insulation test for moisture content or insulation defects shall be made per CSA criteria Any questions as to these specifications shall be addressed to Mark Hall, Director of Utility Operations (606) 385-3332. |
