Commercial Overhead Doors, Emergency Repair Service, and Installation

Replacement of overhead doors or existing conditions shall include the removal and off-site disposal by the Contractor of the overhead door, motor operator system, tracks, springs and hardware to the extent they exist. Motors used shall be compatible with the voltage and phase characteristics of the job site. Contractor is responsible to survey existing site conditions and power systems. To the extent that individual projects include an electronic or commercial operator, the Contractor shall install the operator, control wiring and all associated equipment. The City will be responsible for providing electric service to the operator location. This work shall be completed after the Contractor provides location and technical specification to the City and prior to installation of the door.
