Squantz Engine Company Elevator

The Town of New Fairfield on behalf of Squantz Engine Company (hereinafter the Town is accepting proposals for providing and installation a Limited Use Limited Access (LULA) Elevator or equivalent elevator system at Squantz Engine Company. Squantz Engine Company is located at 255 Route 39, New Fairfield, CT 06812. The Town of New Fairfield is an equal opportunity and affirmative action purchaser, WBE/MBS/SBE section 3 and disadvantaged enterprises are encouraged to bid. This contract is subject to state set-aside and contract compliance requirements PREVAILING WAGE: When the State of Connecticut Prevailing Wage Rate is applicable to the bid, the successful bidder must submit a Certified Payroll Record prior to any request and/or invoice for payment. BID BONDS: Shall be in the amount of 5% of the total base bid not including the add alternate made out in favor of the Town of New Fairfield and issued by a Surety company acceptable to the Town of New Fairfield and/or New Fairfield BOE, and must accompany each bid. A certified check in the same amount may be submitted in lieu of the bid bond. Bids submitted without Certified Check or Bid Bond will not be accepted Completion Date All work shall be completed, tested, inspected and accepted no later than January 11, 2023
