Description | At Salem Correctional Center and Jail, there are two (2) existing Bryan natural gas fired boilers, B1 and B2. The two (2) boilers are in room AM196B on the mezzanine floor. The only access is via the stairwell. The two (2) boilers are used to heat the building. The two (2) boilers were built in 1999. It only takes one (1) boiler to heat the building. They have a redundant heating system. There is one (1) boiler that is not operational currently, B1, and the other is operational, B2. The contractor must rebuild the two (2) boilers. |
