Description

Concrete Walkway, Walkway/Passage/Corridor Description: All work and materials for upgrading approximately 6,800 feet of existing gravel (soft) pathway to concrete, multi-use pathway. Improvements will include excavating, subbase compaction and forming and pouring the concrete pathway sections. Pathway section under a set of Interstate 90 (I-90) overpasses spanning Goose Creek will require installation of gabion wall, soil nail installation and application of shotcrete for stability of the slope above the pathway. Connections to existing pathways and the proposed Gateway Park Pedestrian Bridge constructed under a separate contract will also be part of the project.
