The scope of work consists of removing the existing pavement structure to subgrade and reconstructing a new pavement section consisting of aggregate base, hot mix asphalt base course, and hot mix asphalt pavement. Work also includes reconstructing existing concrete sidewalks and ramps in various locations; construction of paved shoulders and new concrete sidewalks, ramps and driveways; removing and replacing existing guardrails and drain lines in various locations; concrete lining of an existing corrugated metal pipe culvert; reconstructing street monuments; adjusting valve boxes and manhole frame and covers; installing new pavement markings, signage, and reflective markers, and other incidentals. To be eligible for award, bidders must possess a valid State of Hawaii General Engineering "A" license prior to the award of the contract.
