Dewa Park Wide Vault Septic Removal & Disposal Services

Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, tools, supplies, transportation, and incidentals necessary to pump sewage at various designated vaults throughout Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area. Delaware Water Gap National Park is in the counties of Pike, Monroe, and Northampton in Pennsylvania, and the counties of Sussex and Warren in New Jersey. Contractor shall be called for a minimum of one pump out per year per vault which consists of forty-three 1,000-gallon vaults at various locations throughout the park, two 1,000-gallon pit toilets located at Rivers Bend Campgrounds, and one 10,000 vault located at Bushkill Access. Water will be provided and added by contractor in the amount of 75-100 gallon per 1,000 gallon vault each time a unit is pumped, except at Bushkill Access and Rivers Bend Campground Pit Toilets, unless otherwise stated by park representative. The park typically plans to pump each of the 1,000-gallon vaults about twice a year unless situations arise that require more. The 10,000- gallon vault may be more, possibly up to five or six times, not always at full capacity. Tanks are access by surface mounted locked lid cover set at-grade and will not require digging to access the tanks. Government escort will unlock and re-secure lids upon completion of pumping.
