| Description | Work consists of replacement of main electrical switchboard. Contractor shall cut in a new opening into the existing CMU wall and provide a new lintel to support a new 7' tall x 5'-0" wide hollow metal door frame and hollow metal double door. The double door shall be uneven door panels, with the active leaf being 36" wide and an inactive leaf of 24" wide. Door hardware shall consist of all required flush bolts, levers and locksets as required. Door requires panic hardware and shall be lockable. Door and hardware operating mechanisms & forces shall be compliant with all local area building codes. Bend conduit to allow junction box for existing feeder to be installed face of new switchboard. Under base bid, extend existing feeders to new switchboard location. Under alternate #1, provide new feeders for the full length of the feeder. Notes: remove existing suspended ceiling and light fixtures in this area. Provide new suspended bare strip LED fixtures and connect to existing lighting circuit in this area. LED strip light, low profile strip channel, frosted lens, 4-foot nominal length, cold rolled steel housing, high gloss baked white enamel finish. |
