Such bidder's security must be in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the maximum amount of bid for each site, as a guarantee that the bidder will enter into the proposed Contract, if the same is awarded to such bidder, and will provide the required performance and payment Bonds, insurance certificates and any other required documents. In the event of failure to enter into said Contract or provide the necessary documents, said security will be forfeited. Within 10 days after notification of the Award of Contract, the successful bidder or bidders will be required to furnish, simultaneously with execution of the Contract, a Labor and Material Payment Bond and a Faithful Performance Bond in the form required by the District, each in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price from an admitted surety company as defined in Code of Civil Procedure section 995.120. Description of Work: Project scope includes but is not limited to preparation of site to receive (1) 30' x 30' metal shade structure, owner-furnished / contractor installed with associated site work. The addition of (2) play structures, site paving, fencing and gates, striping, drinking fountain and associated site work as shown in project documents for a complete and operational project. Work to be performed during normal business hours.
