Conversion to ADA - 736 B Mallory

Contractor shall provide all tools, equipment, labor and material (except items noted below) to complete the project per drawings and specifications* All Work shall comply with 2010 ADA Standards for Accessible Design -*Mechanical Closet door to be 2’-4” -*A 2” Bathroom floor drain with trap primer will be added by Contractor -*14 gauge wire is not allowed -*Shower Unit will be ADA compliant pre-fab fiberglass unit -*Replace Security Screen Latches with Single point latch -*Construct firewall in the attic space at adjoining apartment if needed -Contractor will remove debris left in unit and dispose of it in the container located at the Maintenance Facility -Contractor shall keep site safe and secure at all times, provide for construction debris removal (no debris left more than 48 hrs), and provide toilet facilities (to be locked when not in use) The Housing Authority will provide the following Material: -Screen Doors- Use existing if suitable -Heat Pump- Use Existing (Type B requires new) -Wall Mount Air Handler -Duct Material for Heating/Cooling Unit -Sink and Vanity Faucets -Shower Valve -Toilet(s) -Lights and Ceiling Fans -Range vent hood, bath exhaust fan -VCT and glue, Ceramic tile for bath -Paint -Door Locks and Keys -Single point Security Screen Latches
