Githens Boiler Replacement

Goals: 10%. Turnkey boiler replacement at Sherwood Githens Middle School located at 4800 Old Chapel Hill Rd Durham, NC 27707. Remove two existing Bryan RV450WFDGO boilers, two boiler pumps, boiler vent pipes, and associated accessories. Remove domestic water heater vent pipe. Provide and install two new gas-fired condensing boilers, two boiler pumps, and associated piping, vents, insulation, and accessories. Provide new vent pipe for the existing gas-fired domestic water heater. Make safe and disconnect associated mechanical equipment circuits. Remove boiler circuits. Remove and replace 2-section original panelboard with new single section panelboard. Extend and reconnect panelboard feeder. Extend and reconnect existing pump circuits. Provide new boiler circuits. Provide a 5-year warranty. Owner’s preferred brands: 1. Boilers - Lochinvar, Weil McLain, and Benchmark. 2. Valves & Actuators – Belimo. 3. Variable Frequency Drives – Honeywell SmartVFD. 4. BAS Controls – Distech, or Tridium.
