FY23 Replacement of Fan Coil Units on Building 704 - Shapiro

The Illinois Department of Human Services (DHS) is seeking bids for the replacement of fan coil units located at Building 704 on the Shapiro Center Campus located at 100 E. Jeffery St, Kankakee, Il. Pursuant to CPO Notice 2020.06 Removal and replacement of existing fan coil units at Building 704. Building 704 currently heats and cools the building using a 4-pipe system fan coil unit in each room. This project calls for the removal of ALL existing fan coil units and replace with new 4-pipe fan coil units of similar size and construction; New units shall have new fan speed/temperature controls and control valves located in unit; There are approximately 71 fan coil units that are to be replaced that come in four different lengths: 67" (qty: 21); 56 1/2"(qty: 4); 48" (qty: 34); 38 1/2" (qty: 12); Contractor is responsible for verifying count and sizes; First filter for each unit must be supplied with fan coil; Any pipe insulation that is removed must be replaced; Contractor is responsible for removing ALL old equipment and/or parts and discard off site from Shapiro Center All questions, other than questions raised at the PreSubmission Conference, pertaining to thissolicitation must be submitted in writing to the Information Contact no laterthan 5:00 pm on December 8, 2022.
